The Master's Program in Health Data Science (PPGSS-CDS) at the São Francisco University (USF) is an interdisciplinary graduate program designed to integrate data science, artificial intelligence, computational methods, and health sciences to generate innovative solutions for contemporary healthcare challenges.
Established in 2025, the program was created from the consolidation of internationally active research groups with expertise in epidemiology, exercise physiology, rehabilitation, environmental sustainability, psychology, engineering, computer science, and biomedical research.
Our mission is to educate highly qualified researchers capable of developing, applying, and translating advanced analytical methods into meaningful improvements in healthcare, public health, and technological innovation.
The program promotes collaboration among clinicians, engineers, computer scientists, physiotherapists, psychologists, pharmacists, nutritionists, biologists, and other health professionals. Research activities combine statistical modeling, machine learning, artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, omics sciences, clinical research, epidemiology, wearable technologies, and digital health.
