About our Program

Overview

The program is developed through studies and investigations related to research lines that articulate, among other aspects, social, historical, and cultural perspectives on educational issues.

Program Mission

To promote the training of teachers/researchers to engage in an education attentive to others, through dialogical interaction and the potential for collective, sustainable, and innovative projects, aiming at equity and social transformation.

Objective

The Program has the following general objectives:

• To foster a research-oriented mindset through systematic study in addressing the challenges of contemporary society.
• To encourage multiple interpretations of social, cultural, economic, and political processes that may contribute to the enhancement of policies, programs, and projects related to Education.
• To promote dialogue between academic studies and societal demands for local, regional, national, and Latin American development.
• To contribute to the training of critical researchers and professionals to work in diverse educational contexts.

Scope

Research in the field of Education that articulates the interfaces of national issues and cross-cutting themes, grounded in the principle of interdisciplinarity.
