Researcher Dr. Muhammad Kamran has completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Stricto Sensu Graduate Program in Psychology at Universidade São Francisco (USF), reinforcing the institution’s commitment to internationalization and academic cooperation.
Dr. Muhammad earned his Ph.D. in Education from Northeast Normal University, in Changchun, China, between 2014 and 2018. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Education at University of Loralai, located in Balochistan, Pakistan.
His interest in conducting postdoctoral research at Universidade São Francisco was motivated by the international recognition of the research developed within the program, particularly in the field of psychological assessment.
During the internship, the researcher developed a project focused on translating and adapting a psychological measure of Grit, authored by their supervisor, Professor Dr. Ana Paula Porto Noronha, for the Pakistani context. The work also involved conducting psychometric studies to evaluate the instrument's properties and its applicability across different samples.
The research was successfully completed, meeting rigorous theoretical, technical, and methodological standards. It also resulted in the preparation of a scientific article submitted to an international journal, contributing to the dissemination of knowledge produced through academic cooperation between institutions from different countries.
